To connect to machines via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), Remmina can be used under Linux. The program is included with Ubuntu, for example.

Scaling the remote session

The display settings cannot be changed via a remote session. Therefore, the scaling factor of the Windows user interface in Remmina must be set globally for all RDP connections.

  1. Open the settings via key shortcut CTRL + P or by clicking on the "Main Menu" button (three vertical bars) and selecting the first "Settings" entry.
