Call up the "Options" command under the settings icon . Select the category "E-mail" and the tab "Inbox and sweep rules". To create a new rule, select the plus sign +.
Assign a name for the rule and then open the pull-down menu under "When the message arrives, and it matches all of these conditions". Select "Apply to all messages". Then open the pull-down menu under "Do all of the following". Select the command "Redirect the message to..." under "Forward, redirect or send".
The Global Exchange Address Book opens. Select the input line "Redirect the message to..." and enter the desired target e-mail address (e.g. "abc@gmail.com").
Attention: To prevent e-mail loops (endless loops), do not enter the TU-e-mail address (first name.last name@tu-dresden.de) here! Then confirm your entry with "OK".
If you subsequently want to delete the forwarded e-mail in the Exchange mailbox, select "Add action". This adds new commands to the menu window. Select "Move, copy or delete", then "Delete the message" and then "Save".
If you also want to save the forwarded e-mails in the Exchange mailbox, click on "Save" without making any further changes.
You must now answer a few system queries. Confirm with "Yes". This completes the creation of the forwarding. In the right-hand column you will see a summary of the rule content. To turn off the forwarding later, deactivate the checkbox in the "To" column.
