Hint:
If the setup of Eduroam is not successful, please 'Change' your WLAN password at: https://selfservice.tu-dresden.de/passwords/ then wait 15 minutes and start again.

Please note that the username in these instructions must always be entered in the following format: yourZIHLogin@tu-dresden.de
 
  1. Download the "installation programme" from this page, preferably with the Chrome browser.
    On the TU Dresden campus: If you do not have a WiFi connection, use the VPN/WEB network for the download.

  1. Open this page in Chrome and scroll to the "Import ONC file":

  1. Now select the .onc file and click "open.."

  1. As you scroll down, you will see the message "Networks imported: 1".

  1. Open the "short settings" at the bottom right and click on the small arrow next to the WLAN icon.

  1. Enter your username in the form of "ZIH-Login@tu-dresden.de" and your password in this dialog. Afterwards, click on "Connect".
