In this guide, you will learn how to set up a TU Dresden email account in Apple Mail for iOS/iPadOS. You can then send and receive emails, view your calendar and continue to set up your personal certificate for signing and encryption.

Setup

Open the "settings" on your device and scroll to "Mail".

2. Please select "Accounts".

3. Click on "Add Account".

4. Select "Microsoft Exchange".

5. Please enter your "TU Dresden mail address" (please pay attention to the ending, its either @tu-dresden.de or @mailbox.tu-dresden.de) and confirm with "Next".

6. Please confirm the next window with "Configure Manually".

7. Enter your password and click "Next".

8. Enter the following data and confirm with "Next".

Server: msx.tu-dresden.de
Domain: user
Username: zih-login (your own one)

9. Decide now which data you want to use on your device and click on "Save".

10. You can now see the TU mails in the mail app.
