Hint: If the setup of Eduroam is not successful, please "Change" your WLAN password at: https://selfservice.tu-dresden.de/passwords/ then wait 15 minutes and start again.

Please note that the username in these instructions must always be entered in the following format: yourZIHLogin@tu-dresden.de
 
  1. Open the control center of Ubuntu, in the upper right corner, and click there on Wi-Fi.

  1. Please select eduroam in the Wi-Fi settings.

  1. Please enter the data for the legitimation of the Wi-Fi.  Afterwards please click on Connect.

    You can download the certificate here: Rootcertificate GEANT - comodo-root-ca (right-click, 'Save target as' or via attachment on the right-hand side)

  1. You should now be connected to the eduroam Wi-Fi. You can see this by the check mark behind the eduroam network.
