Hint: If the setup of Eduroam is not successful, please "Change" your WLAN password at: https://selfservice.tu-dresden.de/passwords/ then wait 15 minutes and start again.

Please note that the username in these instructions must always be entered in the following format: "yourZIHLogin@tu-dresden.de".
 

1. Download the "eduroam" profile: https://cat.eduroam.org/?idp=5916

   

    

2. You will get a message that the profile has to be installed via the "System Settings".

   

    

3. Open the System Settings and search for Profiles under "Privacy & Security".
   
   Under macOS 15 and newer, please open the System Settings and click on “Device management” under “General”

   

   

4. There you will find the eduroam profile, install this with a "double click".

   

    

5. Click on "Install".

   

    

6. Confirm with "Continue".

   

    

7. Now enter your "yourZIH-Login@tu-dresden.de" and the "Password" (if you have set a WLAN password, enter it). Then click on "Install".

   

    

8. Confirm the message again with "Install". The profile has been installed, the Mac automatically connects to "eduroam".
