Setting Up a Distributed Mailbox in Apple Calendar (on iOS and iPadOS)

1. Open “Settings”, go to “Apps”, and then to “Calendar”.

2. Click “Calendar Accounts” and then “Add Account”.

   

   

3. Select “Add Other Account...”.

   

4. Select "CalDAV-Account“.

   

5. Enter the following information then tap "Next":
    

   • Server: davmail.msx.tu-dresden.de

   • Username: Your ZIH-Login

   • Password: Password of your personal ZIH-Login

   • Description: (Optional)

     

6. Confirm by clicking “Continue” and “OK”
    

   

   

    

7. Click “Advanced Settings”

   

   and enter the following additional information:
   Use SSL: activated
   Port: 1180
   Account URL: https://davmail.msx.tu-dresden.de:1180/principals/users/name-des-vpf@msx.tu-dresden.de
   Use the “<” button to go back.

   

    

8. Tap “Next” and then “Save”; the calendar will now be displayed
