Call list when workstation PC is switched off

If the workstation PC is switched off or put into energy-saving mode, this naturally also affects the softphone application.
It can then no longer signal or accept calls. External callers receive a ring tone, while callers within the TU telephone system receive two rings and then a busy tone. This cannot be changed due to system limitations.
However, the call list is now also able to record these unsuccessful call attempts when the softphone is switched off (not registered on the telephone system). As soon as you are back online with your softphone device, the call list will be updated (this may take a few minutes).
You can customize the call behavior according to your preferences:

  1. By default, when a softphone is turned off (unregistered), we use the above solution with a list of missed calls in the call list.

  2. If you have also installed the softphone client on a smartphone, you will receive the calls there at the same time.

  3. You can also set call forwarding to another internal or external number (vacation, illness).

  4. You can set up call forwarding to a central message stating that you are currently unavailable. To do this, set up call forwarding to 43388.
  5. You can request a voicemail box (answering machine) for your phone number via Service Desk. All calls when the PC is switched off can be diverted to this box. If a caller leaves a message on the answering machine, you can retrieve the message when you return to the client and call back if necessary.
